I've already started writing episode #2, so stay tuned.
Have a great day!
Here it's in the middle of the night--
And I'm studying up on YouTube tutorials, making my brain tick away. I don't think I'll be going to sleep any time soon... *silent snore* (Shh, I'm really sleep typing!)
I've decided to do my "New Year resolutions" early. Number 1, step up my game on this business and openly admit that I'm a publisher and not just a "proofreading service". I'm really excited about my to-be new author publishing with Amber Florenza Paperless Publishing, starting with edits next month! I won't name her as she's going to use a pen name and, well, she can introduce herself in her story, can't she? All I'm saying is I've been best buddies with her since I was a kid and she's a fellow Junebug whose birthday is a week after mine. Saying that, be forewarned to read some really witty stuff. I can't wait!
Oh, and I've decided a proper black and white photo looks more professional, more businesslike. Not that I'm oh so businesslike at the moment. The joys of being an artist! You have those dark, thunderous moods...
In case I forget, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
For those wishing to publish with Amber Florenza Paperless Publishing, please read the guidelines. If you only write long works of fiction, you could try splitting up the novel into 20,000-word parts and publishing it as a single book in paperback later. Just a thought. If so, I'd be happy to advertise your indie books (which match your eBooks published with us). Happy writing!
Come on, you, keep smiling--keep dreaming--keep being the one and only--
It's been a whirl--
Trying to find a house in such a short time isn't such a good idea. But it had to be done. Excited about it now after all the stress that came with it--still stressing, actually, but I'm learning how to cope with it a bit. After a few days of changing my mind back and forth, I decided. I need to settle somewhere for a few months, at least. Who knows what the future holds? Does anyone though? You can only see the present horizon...until a new horizon appears. Every season has its journey; every journey a different destination--
Recently, I've had to make a few changes to my website. I only accept payments through PayPal now. I'd love to run a charity business but, unfortunately, I need to make money. (Don't we all? Lol.) Charges for proofing and copyediting are back to 40p/80p per page again (fiction included). If I don't know you personally, I'll have to charge you in advance. If you only want a few pages done at a time, I'm fine with that. Email me and hit the PayPal button to add to your cart. No stress--let's keep it happy.
I've learned a few things to cope through stress, so I'll share them with you know.
Have a great day, God bless.
I do have a knack for silence--
So I'll start with this top tip for new writers: LESS SAYS BEST. Yeah, I know they all say to cram a kazillion words on that manuscript, but hey? It only makes your head ache that much more. That much more editing to do. *groan* Write the "bare bones" of the story and then ADD "the hide, etc." onto it. You'll thank me later.
Talking about EDITING, I'm currently offering to proof/edit the first three pages of your manuscript for FREE. After that, it's only £5 per 50 pages for proofing and £5 per 25 pages for editing. Drop me a line at email@example.com. Let's get to business, pronto!
A special thank you to Kane Tsang for listing me as the editor for his brand new book.
Do have a faith-filled, offbeat, witty ADHD story hidden inside you? YOU are wanted. Welcome aboard, writers. See our guidelines for details and look forward to hearing from you.
Struggling with your story? Or anything else? I'll send you some absolutely free advice. Maybe I can help.
In any case, email me your prose and your woes. Eeyore here says it best. Maybe it'll rain tomorrow if we're lucky--
Faith is bigger than your fears.
